I truly appreciate your articles, they help me get a good perspective. Do you (or have you considered) providing content for kids that explain these problems? It’s just as important to me that my kids understand the risks, and I try to explain in terms they can understand but can’t. It’s too abstract a threat to them. They need examples, real life stories, and analogies. Otherwise I’m just a witch for not allowing my pre-teens on snap or insta.

Hi Danielle, thank you so much for the kind words. TBH I hadn't thought about creating content for kids specifically, but I will absolutely consider it. I have created a book with my first 100 newsletters in it, and have also published another book called Screen Captured. I often discuss aspects of the book with both of my children and I find having the physical books to leaf through is helpful. I'd love to send you free copies if you'd like - just email your information to me at sean@kinzoo.com. I'll think about other types of content I could create that could be more helpful as well. A few resources that I can also recommend are (1) our blog at www.kinzoo.com/blog where we post a lot of articles aimed to foster conversations between parents and kids, and (2) www.thewhitehatter.ca - he is an Advisor of mine and creates a ton of content on digital literacy and online safety. Thanks again for reading!
